1980 – Present MARVIN SLOBEN PHOTOGRAPHY - San Diego, California

Specializing in commercial photography for the building industry, providing images for architects, interior designers and licensing imagery for building products. Published in San Diego lifestyle magazines. Travelling along the West Coast for clients. Docent at Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park.

2004 - Present SAN DIEGO CITY COLLEGE - San Diego, California

Adjunct Professor teaching Portraiture, Business Operations, Lighting, Color Transparency and digital classes to students for two year Associates degree. Prepare curriculum for each class. Lead students on field trips to local studios. Initiate guest speakers for classes.

1985 – 1990 U.C.S.D. EXTENSION - San Diego, California

Taught classes in Portraiture and Color Transparency.

1977 – 1980 INTERNATIONAL GRAPHICS - San Diego, California

Position: Photo Lab Supervisor – Responsible for the production of black and white prints for MLS Books in Southwestern states.  Maintain processing equipment, quality control and supervise staff of six.

Position: Production Coordinator – Duties included scheduling work flow.  Coordinating department supervisor’s procedures with regard to cost, labor and material usage.

1974 – 1977 DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE – STATE OF FLORIDA - Tallahassee, Florida

Position: Photographer – Provided photographic service to all government agencies.  Handled assignments for editors in the promotion of Florida’s tourism industry.  Created slide presentations.

1973 – 1974       GITTINGS STUDIO, INC. - Houston, Texas

Position: Staff Photographer – Photographed executives, family groups, and weddings both in studio and on location.
